Those simply browsing Lockenpedia will have no more information collected than is typically collected in server logs by web sites in general.

When you contribute to the Lockenpedia you are publishing every word you post publicly. When you write something assume it will be retained forever. This pertains to articles, user pages and talk pages.

Identification of an author

Publishing information to the Lockenpedia requires an account, anonymous contributions are not allowed at this time. You IP address is logged along with your submissions. If you wish to publish limited amounts of information anonymously you may contact Lockenmaster or an existing member and attempt to work something out.


The wiki will create a temprary session cookie (PHPSESSID) every time you visit this site. If you do not ever log in you may deny this cookie, however you may not log in without it being created. The cookie will be deleted every time your browser is closed.

Sharing information with third parties

Except where specified, all text and media added to the Lockenpedia is available for reuse under the terms of the GFDL.

Lockenpedia will not share or sell private information with third parties unless you agree to release this information or if it is subpoenaed by a court of law.

Removal of user accounts

Once a user account is created it may not be removed from Lockenpedia. It is possible for an account name to be renamed. However we do not guarantee that all requests for account name changes will be honored.

Deletion of articles or other content

The act of removing text from an article does not permanently delete it. Anyone has the ability to view previous versions of the article to see what the pre-edit version was. In the event that an article is deleted an administrator can still retrieve the article. Anyone found to be maliciously removing articles or otherwise performing mischief will have their account frozen and IP address('s) banned. Valid articles will only be permanently removed only in response to a court order.
